WHAT IS THE EDS WEB PORTAL?

The EDS EMPLOYEE'S WEB PORTAL is basically a private website (an Intranet) that allows employees to file applications for Leaves (Time-off), Overtime and Official Business (Whereabouts) on-line. Increased efficiency is achieved because encoding accuracy is enhanced and paper forms are eliminated. Approvals of these applications are also done on-line by authorized superiors.

Employee Calendar (above) offers clear and concise viewing of time logs and holidays. Allows easy checking for employees anywhere.

  • MULTIPLE LEVEL OF APPROVERS  PLUS ALTERNATE APPROVERS - Option for 1st, 2nd and 3rd approver assignments plus 1st and 2nd Contingent (Alternate or Backup) Approvers.

  • AUTOMATIC EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS - Approvers receive email notifications every step of the way - when applications are pending. 

  • LEAVES (TIME-OFF) APPLICATION AND APPROVAL– Employees apply for Sick Leaves, Vacation Leaves and other company leaves on-line. Leave balances are automatically displayed. Supervisors and/or managers also approve on-line.

  • OVERTIME (OT) APPLICATION AND APPROVAL– Employees file their OT applications on-line. History of past OT applications are also displayed with corresponding approvals/disapprovals.

  • OFFICIAL BUSINESS (OB) APPLICATION AND APPROVAL– Also known as “Mission Orders” or "Whereabouts", employees who have field work and who cannot log-IN or log-OUT at the office can now file their OB even when out in the field. Supervisors and/or managers subsequently approve or disapprove these OB applications.

  • COMPANY POLICIES – Employees now have on-line access to the Employee Manual or Employee Code of Conduct on-line. They will always see the latest version (as long as the Administration updates). With built-in hyperlinks to jump to chapters within the manual.

  • ANNOUNCEMENTS – Management may post important announcements at the main page of the Intranet. Great for employees posted in remote locations or branches.

  • ATTENDANCE HISTORY (Individual) – Employees may review their attendance history on-line. This is a valuable service to employees who have questions on how their paycheck was computed.

  • ATTENDANCE HISTORY (Group) – Authorized managers may view the attendance history of any of his subordinates.

  • EMPLOYEE CALENDAR – Employees may easily view at a glance his attendance for a selected month. Color coding provides unique visualization of attendance items (i.e. tardy, timelogs, leaves, holidays).

  • PAYSLIP VIEWING – Two (2) Payslip formats available.
