EDS FEATURED ON GMA7’S TV SHOW AHA! Nov. 26, 2011. EDS INNOVENTIONS was featured in GMA7’s AHA! TV Show hosted by Drew Arrellano. The show, which is focused on discoveries and inventions, showcased a unique project created by EDS for the Bureau of Jail Management and Penelogy (BJMP). A customized biometric system was developed to eliminate inmate escapes via visitor impersonation. The project was initially conceived by then Warden, Gen. Romeo Elisan, and then developed and implemented by the EDS software engineering team. Prior to the installation of this project, inmate escapes have occured however with the system’s deployment at Camp Bagong Diwa, escapes via visitor impersonation have been reducted to ZERO. With the success of this project, the BJMP plans to install the BIOMETRIC VISITOR TRACKING SYSTEM across jail faciilities nationwide. Shown at left: EDS President and CEO Engr.
